i think i'm right in saying that australia has never had a current acount surplus since the pirates dumped their mates on the shores of oughstraylia 200 yrs ago. never, never ever, not one tinee little bitty witty surplus. some one correct me please, if i am wrong. no wonder tis called the lucky country.
uk and usa have had surpluses in my lifetime lol but forgive me, i am so old now, my memory fails me. or is it that my memory's ok and it's just such a very long time ago that in reality no one wants to care anymore.
after all we do have lil holes in the wall where we can get money out. wasn't like that for me as a kid, my pa and grandpa. but we all still had recessions and depressions.
