I would love to say your wrong but you are 100% right. Most people who use sites like this one are either in the finance sector or middle to upper management and well educated.
I personally run hotels, pubs to be exact i have worked with for many different groups and as a consultant for many others and it still blows my mind how many people still cant simply balance the books even with procedures in place still have know idea about money.
These same people then go out into the real world without procedures to guide them and the bank said no and they just move on to the next leading group till they find the money (which will come with higher interest as it is higher risk). What chance do they have? It has to come back to education
