good point Paul.... but even the most ardent rebels against tyrannical or militarist control of nations have been forced to leave their land under pain of death.
the only two real stand outs were Gandhi and Mandela - both of whom were imprisoned for long periods. both extraordinary people.
Chinese political adversaries to Xi and the CCP would have no option but to leave China/HK or Taiwan.
and others are severely oppressed minority groups such as Rohingya..... these people have no opportunity to fight the military or the local buddhist activists who threaten and kill Rohingya people.
