National Iranian Oil Co approves Queshm Is agreement

Sydney - Wednesday - December 20: (RWE Aust Business News) -
Liquefied Natural Gas (ASX:LNG) has received approval from the National Iranian Oil Co board for its co-operation agreement to supply up to 530 million standard cubic feet of gas per day for the proposed 3.45mtpa project on Queshm Is.
Export approval has been received and the destination will be co-ordinated with the National Iranian Gas Export Co.
The company will now review all relevant data in relation to the onshore Gashoy gasfield and kick start the drilling of production wells to supply gas to the plant. It will select the preferred LNG site and enter into an LNG sales heads of agreement.
Its shares last traded at 59c.
