the trial patients would have received expertly applied vitrogro treatment on the scheduled days. regardless of the pain or frustration of having to change the dressing it would have been done and therefore the medication worked.
the same people would not have received the same support in applying their previous treatment which no doubt they would have been doing at home on their own.
so in effect we are probably comparing vitrogro treatment to 10 months of partial self treatment (which i could argue is the gold standard treatment).
regardless, customer feedback will be key going forward and will make or break vitrogro in my mind. if it's as successful in the real world as it is in the trials then it will be unique and highly sought after.
