i was thinking of this too -- all these limbs getting chopped off while bureaucrats take their time.

I think all workers need a clear sense of "the big picture" - it would help make their jobs more meaningful and it would help the people trying to do good get things going a bit faster with less aggravation.

Maybe we should all ask ourselves today "Am I being an aggravating bottleneck for someone trying to do some good?"

I hate the traditional public service culture -- and probably so do most public servants having to work in it, even if they don't realize it!
