Its not just suspicious, its actually quite clear it was shorted by insiders the day before. For this cap raising to occur, Origin had to have discussions with the under writers who discuss things with sub-underwriters. Therefore many people know about it but they are bound by law not disclose it to anyone or to buy shares themselves. If there were investigations into this sort of thing then they would be too scared to do it but since they can get away with it so they have no fear. Its very obvious it was shorted by insiders and I think people should be angry about it. Its easy for people (names I wont mention) to say it was the financials that was the cause of the heavy shorting the day before but an intelligent reasonable person shouldnt listen to this kind of an argument. If you compare Origin shorts with other companies that are currently being shorted heavily, you wont notice as big a % jump in shorts on that day with any of them.
