I agree the timing is suspicious. Unfortunately, how do you engage someone to underwrite the capital raising without telling someone else? It is not possible to consider a CR after the market closes and then announce the next day.
The other question is, are there any parallels to the QBE class action where shareholders who bought shares based on announcements are starting a class action. It would be fair to say I believed Origin when they told me there was no need for CR two months ago. Apart from the share price plummeting, what has changed materially?
