Up and to the Left Indicates: Visually Constructed Images (Vc) If you asked someone to "Imagine a purple buffalo", this would be the direction their eyes moved in while thinking about the question as they "Visually Constructed" a purple buffalo in their mind.
Up and to the left is when you are facing them, as in Julia's photo.
This means they are NOT trying to recall facts but are trying to Visually Construct hmmm, hmmm, maybe a lie.
This is not a fool proof test. How ever I would believe if you did a study on a person over a period of time with questions you knew the truth, and ones that are untruthful, you would have their measure.
