    Hi abuman

Fair question really as we do have to extract what we can from WPL's very "spare" words. What we don't know is on what basis they describe Sotto as "relatively high risk". Is that relative to wells elsewher in the world generally? Probably not because offshore Mauritania has proved better then most. Is it relative to other previous wells offshore Mauritania? Could be because it is in a part of Block 3 where they haven't drilled before and in realtively shallow water. Then again its a similar 'location" to Banda immediately north. By the way I am going for an oil column of 65m and gas of 130m .. because it is in a similar location to Banda.. and beacuse I reckon the JV is actively looking for more gas for an LNG development.

It could also be "realtively high risk" because its the first prospect to be picked with the aid of CSEMI which is as yet untested offshore Mauritania. The flip side to that is if Sotto is a goer then all the other wells this year will "relatively low risk". Just speculating to fill in the time of course!!
