I would also note that Incitec Pivot Ammonia Nitrate Plant Gibson Island has announced shut down 2022 due to the inability to secure a gas services agreement.
This was noted in the recent ACCC report..
The gov actually requested ACCC review this tender process.
Over 1000 direct and indirect jobs lost due to gas being exported at higher price. Australia is currently the largest LNG exporter in the world but we cant get reasonable price in downtown Brisbane...
