I have done some further research and I now understand that the court timetable will resemble the parameters of the Scomo case. With the case now lodged, my revised projected timeframe is as follows:-

The major variable in the projection is the Federal Election. The timing of the election could have a bearing on the timetable. The result of the election could also have a bearing on when mediation starts.
Right now, the key date for me is the timeframe to the Government filing it's defence. I don't believe they will file a defence because they do not actually have a defence. The Australian Government Solicitor will not sanction a defence of this case under the model litigant policy.
