hey, one of the charts that I posted is an example of a pennant, it is not confirmed but is trending. the other chart that I posted is an example of a symmetrical triangle which does appear to be confirmed, assuming the symmetrical triangle plays out then the pennant will as well. I hope this explains why I posted these charts. the Bollinger bands are also tightening which suggests a major movement. I also understand your discussion on gaps, my limited experience in charting is enough to understand that share price movements and charts need to also relate to fundamentals. it appears obvious to me that an large institutional investor is off loading. during my 18 years as a shareholder of anp/per this has happened many times and I do realise charts don't always play out as expected but...they also can and have.
