So
Researchers have been working on duvystat a drug HDAC an inhibitor for cancers etc since 2004
It has been repurposed for DMD…

it’s a story very much like PER
Per went down the track with MS in 2009 ..but the FDA put a clinical hold a few years later.
Atl1102 was then repurposed for non ambulant DMD

Duvystat started in 2004 and its only now that they have approval…

Now the interesting thing here is
For many disorders , combining therapies is the way to go..
Even if progress is a little at a time..

Per has stated this ( Combination therapy)
Yes folks .. Per is on the right track with Atl1102 reducing inflammation. and the theory that Per believes in has just got the FDA nod..( ginovstat being approved)
But
ginovstat works in combination with Cortisteroids
So Clinicians
Can now choose Ginovstat/ Atli1102 ( no corticosteroids)
or
Atl1102/ corticosteroids
Or
Just Atl1102…with Sareptas drugs
