I think part of the problem at the moment is that mum and dad investors like me have less of an idea what's going on than the instos. Of course this is an assumption by me and I have no research to back it up, but assuming it's true even just having a level playing field would make the stock market more profitable and attractive to the wider public. Naturally i'm just being selfish =P
