How is the 6200 "fair value" defined?

I much prefer the historical ratio of DJIA to Gold prices which would expect 5500 DJIA vs $1000US gold. However, if history repeats it will overcorrect to the point of under half that ratio so DJIA will need to be less than 2750 or gold double over $2000US. The likes of Marc Faber and Peter Schiff believe the latter will happen with gold going over $2000US.

Peter Schiff also believes the oil vs gold ratios hold true with a oil to gold ratio of 1:10. It is currently at about 1:20 so the "mid-teens" oil price forecast in that article seems a bit too far fetched especially if gold prices head towards $2000US.
