Agree with everything you said Hairy but you left out the most important thing.
The turd Abbott is gonski and never again will we need to see his ugly dial and caustic vindictive attitude. He was never any good at anything other than nastiness and the public could see it so clearly. Otherwise he would not have lost his seat from such a huge majority when other Libs gained votes and increased margins generally.
I for one salute his departure. One needs to be honest and pragmatic about nasty politicians like Abbott.
He was a disgrace and not needed as a genuine decent Liberal.
Maybe he can get a job supporting his sleazebag buddy in jail.
