So now with the Federal budget announced and an intense pressure being put on the trucking industry in general in the form of tariffs, they will be looking to make savings any way they can. Fixing things is cheaper than replacing them. Then add the critical bit about the huge reduction to the "instant asset write-off" tax deduction from $150,000 to $20,000 and there is every reason to bet that bus and truck companies and sole traders will be less likely to buy new machines rather than maintain existing ones. I can't see a downside from here except possibly supply chain issues in sourcing after market parts. All aboard.......
