A very interesting read. I can't say it filled me with confidence given some of the fairly informed comments there about the overall graphite industry and its level of profitability. It does still sound like a tight market with little room for new players unless they can undercut the existing ones on cost. Hopefully VXL will come in as a relatively low cost producer with the right mix of products that the market wants. Else having X% of graphite doesn't mean much if some of it can't be sold at reasonable cost. Fingers crossed VXL starts cranking out some products soon, with orders to match, so we can better assess the future prospects. Certainly if some of those options are traded in there will be plenty of $ around to upgrade the plant at least.
