Pump and Dump, Bots and Shorts -> in ASX is nothing like in America.
The number 1 reason is the sheer numbers of people behind the P&D, bots and shorts.
Also Bots are not "automactic -> someone or an entity has to bankroll it. ie each trade cost money
If you want to consider scale.....
In its days WSB could likely get 10,000 or 100,000 people to "bet" $100 to $10,000 to ramp a stock in US to move 100m market cap company to multi billion
In Australia a closed group would hardly get few hundred people willing to bet $1000 each on a company with a 100m market cap, thus will do zilch (though on 10m company could do, but if this group gets hit by one holder who wants out they could be swamped)
