It is my first time buying TLS in my life, loaded up for 10% of my portfolio today.
The reason for me to buy it is because of its vast free cash flow. Have said that I can accept the worst case scenario to see dividends being cut to under 14c p.a. I think it makes sense to build up a dividend rich portfolio that allows me to use free cashflows to keep adding more each year.
And from a TA point of view, albeit 2.81 is not likely to be cheapest this year, I'm already in big advantage by having an average cost around 2.80.
Moreover, I don't believe TLS will be a dead horse as some of my friends have suggested to me becuase I think Australian population have alot of room to grow (migrants+new borns) in the next 30-50 years and future growth will come.
