They claim to be effective activist shareholders but results show otherwise. I have listened to the likes of AW being interviewed by various journalists and none really question the sub standard results or obscene fees. Have they actually achieved any meaningful changes in any investments ?
A few years ago I listened Waislitz interviewing some managers of TOP investments. What a waste of time, - seemed all pre arranged to create a warm fuzzy feeling that all would eventually turn round.
Somehow AW has slipped under the radar. Just compare the lack of critiques of TOP with the recent scathing articles of Magellan. Magellan at least showed a good record until recently.
