I am also a holder of PDN so I want the stock to do great as much as you do.
However, I believe the Chairman of PDN Mr Crabb is talking from a bias postion.
What he means is that he hopes the Federal Government will not take on the states on those sort of issues.
He would love PDN to buy SMM on the cheap, and not allowing U mining in QLD would help that.
Everyone knows PDN would love to buy SMM to add to their VUL buy-out.
I say, to bad!
IMHO, QLD will allow U mining after April.
It is to important to the national interest, and I believe the Howard goverment will twist arms in QLD if necessary.
Anyway the Federal Labor party is going to allow Uranium mining after April IMHO.
They want to get back into power after being out so long.
There is to much money to be had by the Federal Government with their deals with China and maybe India in Uranium to let any state government stand in the way of the country's national interest.
Though I know it wouldn't be in Mr. Crabb's best interest.
These uranium deals will fill the Government's coffers with money and would help the state governments too, if they could see past their noses.
After all there so just so many times that the government can sell Telstra before everyone starts to get suspicious. (joke)
