Im not surprised at all misty with the current political campaign .What i am surprised at is often calls for changes Gough wanted back then.His vision was far beyond politics.Diplomatic ties with China ! Now who would have thought that such important decisions would be made back then that still benifit the country today.Moondog you would best be advised on your political mindness to take a good look at what happened after the dismissal .And then take a look at who has reformed the country into what it is today.I dont mind your posts i think they are good but for many i often think they should realy have a good look before the stepping stones become something a country will miss on by having people with vision.
People are still of the missunderstanding on the Whitlam era imo.
