I think if one begins in Toorak with dad in the clubs and going to the private schools
one is buggered from day 1.
If one begins in the boonies, with parents who don't expose the child and don't read or speak a couple of languages or indulge in culture - then, one is close to buggered from day 1.
I suspect that the best chance is -----
born and bred in the boonies with devoted and supportive parents - who expose their kid to the world, encourage reading - a. by being a reader. Travel, indulge in culture - museums, music, arts, history, geography etc etc..
The kid doesn't start of knowing that they're 'special' -- but, they understand the boonies exist and what it's like to live in them ------- but, they grasp that there's also a developed world and they can choose things - and get an actual taste for many things.
I think one can't really play in a puddle if one has always lived in Trump tower. But, one can live in the big smoke if one has been bush born and chooses to.
Most don't - I've noticed a lot of kids - particularly here in France - might start in the country - go to Paris and stay for many years --------- but, the pull of home often draws them back.
It's an interesting thing to see. Easier to see here than in Oz - where - if one begins in Cunnabloodymulla - and goes to Brisbane for many years ----------- well, Cunnabloodymulla is a bit different to many places in France in the country - I assume most would get that
