Perhaps the market makers didn't have enough time to amass the amount of shares required to make a market with enough depth? Why else would the ask price not come down to meet the market unless you have nothing to sell and the way you make money is by selling?
The usual time between announcing and listing is 10 days and they had 1 day, this would make sense of today's 21 million turnover on a falling price.
In my amateur opinion the rest of the week will see price suppression on large volumes due to market makers building their stock, we may see some price action by Friday night our time.
I was right once this week, maybe I can fluke a second time.
