I could see the potential (hence why I invested), but people like me are rare in the market in Australia. There is a lack of investors with significant money from a scientific background. In the mining sector we have a lot of “smart money", but in biotech not so much. This is why we see biotechs getting ramped to the moon (there is a HC darling going bonkers right now) when anyone with some knowledge knows the company has zero chance of achieving a commercial outcome. Far too often biotechs are a fool's casino, but there is no reason why this can’t change if we all make an effort in the industry to improve.
