This is probably why we've seen them upping the plant output.This effectively gives them a higher revenue flow and should allow a quicker payback of expensive debt.Trouble is it shortens mine life considerably.
One hopes that they can sign up a multi year deal that will give them some assurance of a decent profit.But with the Chinese zinc smelters looking to up output irrespective of an oversupply I dont know that any offtaker would sign up to a long term offtake atm.
