Base Metals Exploration Program
Exploration activities during the quarter continued to focus on the lead/zinc/nickel/copper
anomaly located on the Sepaogo permit, 7 km west of the Perkoa zinc deposit.
After receiving the additional soil sample assay results which confirmed the soil-base
metals anomaly and its extension, the Company undertook ground geophysics using the
induced polarisation method. Eight lines totalling ~16,000m were measured by gradient
and two lines by pole dipole. The results show that the soil geochemistry anomalies are
supported by chargeable and/or resistive anomalies.
Following these encouraging results, the Company has decided to further investigate the
prospect with a program of 2,000m of RAB drilling commencing in January 2012.
