Porosity and permeability are the 2 most important things/ to the the amount of trapped oil and the rate at which the oil will flow. They could have hit a sweet spot in highly porous reservoir and that would have a big impact on the rest of the wells ,it allows them to hold more oil, while the permeability of the reservoir impacts flow rates. i touched on this before imo
