Krypto's sleeping in...so I can tell you that 2 letters on the Source Materials license process were updated to Adams overnight.

They were from NRC to two stakeholder groups - the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office.

The letters are just to inform the groups about the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement process, including the Section 106 consultation.

The letter indicates that 24 tribes have been informed about the application and have been invited to a site walkover and workshop in September.

Of most interest is this paragraph:

"The NRC plans on issuing the draft SEIS in summer 2012; when the draft becomes available, a copy will be sent to your office for your review and comment. The NRC will also notify all of the tribes when the draft SEIS is available and request their comments"

This indicates that the NRC is still sticking to its published timeframe - with the Draft EIS indicated to be due for completion in June 2012 and permit issuance in August 2013 - as published here:
