will the australian government put pressure on the big boys to develop there undeveloped oil and gas reserves. Particular mention of western aus . It seems as though the permits that ppp hold have been put on the back burner by the operators but they could add significant value to ppp.

Theres Maitland WA33R (PPP 10 %) Lots of issues around determining reserves here the last mention by ppp was " The Operator is now working on options
to reduce that reserves uncertainty to a level that would
allow a development to proceed. These options include
the possibility of further appraisal drilling and flow testing prior to a development decision being taken."

    Corvus WA246P (PPP 10%)

Okapi, is a 3-way dip and fault-closed structure, which lies close to the boundary with WA209P. While modest in size, Okapi could produce at high rates from the Mungaroo, and development of Okapi could allow a tie-in of the Tusk discovery. Unrisked reserves of 8.8 mmboe are split between WA246P and WA209P.

Sextant is a large sub-unconformity stratigraphic trap with a strong amplitude and AVO anomaly that matches structure well. It overlaps with WA-257P (no interest).

Windlass is the next fault block updip from Sextant. This is high risk stratigraphic play without seductive amplitude and AVO anomalies.

    Leads and Prospects

    i. Livia ( PPP 23.17%)
The Livia prospect is a turbidite play updip from the Emperor-1 well with potential reserves of 20 mmbbl. The primary reservoir are Malouet Sands that display high seismic amplitudes.
    ii . Clove ( PPP 23.17%)
The Clove prospect targets stacked Malouet turbidite sands and has potential reserves of 30mmbbl.
    iii . Chervil 7 ( PPP 23.17%)
Chervil 7 is a northern step-out from Chervil 3 with possible reserves of between 0.5 and 2.8 mmbbl in the Mardie/Birdrong Sandstones.
    iv . South Pepper 18 ( PPP 23.17%)
This prospect targets remaining attic oil in the South Pepper field. Potential reserves are between 0.75 to 4 mmbbl
    v . Basil Deep ( PPP 23.17%)
Basil Deep is a large prospect with the primary target being the Jurassic age Mungaroo Formation
    vi . Marsala ( PPP 23.17%)
The Marsala prospect is a similar play to Clove targeting Malouet turbidites identified from seismic amplitude anomalies.

While everyones focus is clearly on vietnam i hope ppp are planning to develop on what they already have. Cleary none of the above mentioned plays have the risk/return of the current vietnam exploration but we they have to balance the fact TUI output is decreasing and they need to add production be it from High risk plays or lower risk plays closer to home.
