In my view steering committies are set up to railroad a problem with resources ie money and people. Money obviously can be spent many ways but when people are involved they take on personal responsibility with conseqences possibly real or inferred. I think that setting up the steering committy had more to do with accountability so that if the ministers do not do/achieve as the the president wishes they will have a lot of explaining to do at the very least. Isn't George flying up there on the 27th Friday giving them time over the weekend. Maybe these Cameroon permits will be signed on the 30th Monday also. Here 's hoping.
