So a search of Gladstone City Councils Development Portal online reveals no applications for planning permission yet for the A4n parcel of land in the state development area. So while they are undoubtedly doing a lot of the planning and surveying etc etc work in preparation to lodge these until these are approved nothing is getting built. And using the average amount of time a council needs to complete a material change of use and planning permission (allowing time for public submissions etc) throws some doubt in my mind as to whether they can keep to the timeline they have stated to date. Im not too concerned but the development application, when it comes, will be a good marker point
