A new poster on the Yahoo Message Board - 'Evelyn71959'; joined 05/03/14 - has posted four times regarding the formation of 'peroxynitrites' wrt AD and, amongst other things, the role of PBT2, in the removal of such.
The posts are articulate and quite technical in nature. The technicalities are beyond me, but I can't remember 'peroxynitrites' being discussed previously. In summary, Evelyn states that PBT2 may slow the progression of the disease by inhibiting the formation of peroxynitrites, but will not stop their formation and thus halt the disease. This inhibitive effect and its duration is what needs to be assessed in further studies. No recent references are given in these posts.
Has anyone the knowledge or research abilities to comment on Evelyn's statements (need to refer to them on YMB.
