With some very valuable assets and by the end of the 2018/2019 year producing anywhere between 450,000 to 500,000 ounces of gold per year - could PRU now be a takeover target for a bigger player????
Today it is down to 31.5 cents. UBS some time ago had a value on it of 99 cents per share. Other analysts have it at between 55 cents to 75 cents.
Given it's current low price, and the possible need for more capital in a year, could a bigger player take it over - or could the board possibly even shop around to see if bigger players may want to buy it.
Possible sale price - 50 cents per share - that's 60% higher than its current rock bottom price.
Le't see.
