Me too LSM.
Until now I believe the money may have been on a takeover. My guess on the most likely suitor was Redback given they earlier raised funds, then exited their position in MDL, also given their neighbouring proximity in Ghana. Looks like they had other plans.
If the recent CR / rights issue indicates PRU is going to proceed to producer status under its own steam, I'm happy as a LT holder - in fact that would be my preference.
It would be interesting to hear other holders' views on this.
