It certainly all sounds very bleak. I have a friend who's similarly affected by this stock. Fortunately for me I didn't have a large holding, but selling at 18c last Tuesday for a 60% loss was a desperate measure that hurt.

Unfortunately the writing may have been on the wall in their last financial report for June 2007. I've quote Bonvino's incentive scheme below. Looks like that's what the Beach House announcement was about.

I wasn't able to make out how much a signup is worth to the company. Anyone know?


"In the case of Mr. Tommas Bonvino, subject to
Corporations Act and the ASX Listing Rules, he
is to be issued with up to 15,000,000 ordinary
shares in the Company at an issue price of $0.02
in accordance with the following milestones:
1. 5 million shares if the Company achieves break
even during any continuous 3 month period
during the First Year, adding back the pro-rata
costs of and associated with the acquisition of
the Cardanal Assets and all matters incidental to
their integration with the Company’s business.
2. 5 million shares if EBIT of the Company in the
First Year exceeds $1 million. In this instance
EBIT calculations would add back the costs
of and associated with the acquisition of the
Cardanal Assets and all matters incidental to
their integration with the Company’s business.
3. 5 million shares if the Company signs at
least 40 new Clinics during the First Year in
states and territories other than Victoria and
the number of patients being referred to
the Company from these Clinics is at least
equal to the average number of referrals
from Clinics signed at March 1, 2007."
