In the last few weeks I have noticed a lot of online advertisements for Fox Symes and other debt consolidation businesses. The two other businesses are Debt Relief Australia and Australian Debt Reduction.

I decided to click on their advertisements to see what the competitors are up to. I was somewhat surprised to find out after doing ABN and financial licence searches that both Debt Relief Australia and Australian Debt Reduction are actually FSA Group businesses. Welcome aboard!

While I am not into marketing, I can see some benefits in competing with one self. Think BWS and Dan Murphys (or perhaps Rudd and Gillard).

From the online advertisements for the three businesses, it would appear that the personal loan trial has actually commenced.

I was contemplating contacting Tim to seek verification of the above, but decided that I would rather have him focused on running our company. I will just need to be patient and wait for the half yearly results. I am sure that I will be rewarded.

I find it refreshing that this company is not issuing options or new capital, unlike other businesses that I invest in. This board is just getting on with running the company and are not spruiking their achievements. Under promising and over delivering. Given past performances, I expect a profit upgrade before the financial year is out.

Having attended the last two AGM’s, I have fallen for this company big time which unfortunately may bias my judgement. I probably need to seek help, so perhaps DYOR. Merry XMAS and a safe new year.
