personal thoughts on the rally

Hi all,

What follows is personal thought, and obviously just my opinion - but I wanted to state it publicly.

* The "Rally for Raks" thread was initiated by Madmacs on the 13th November at 9.31 pm.

For mine John, you are truly tremendous for doing that! You're a valid legend now.

* Just 7 minutes later, 123enem volunteered to do all the hard mechanical stuff that needed to be done to get the scheme flying. Not only has he done it well, he's done it with sensitivity, humour and honesty.

Nick - you've been absolutely great. Thank you.


* The HC community has surprised most of its members in the way it has truly come together to assist one of its really supportive members, Raks, who's been under unrelenting strains for a long time.

"The HC community has surprised most of its members" - but not all.

Some of us have seen this happen once before, so we had some idea of what might happen.

However I, at least, had no idea of the magnitude of the response from the HC community.

I am so proud to have been a part of this community at this time.

Folks - you are brilliant.
