Is that just the first tranche of the 2 to sell down 29%, so they just whet the appetite of the Others for a stake in the Narrabri CSG JV. If they can get a buyer for 14.9% then maybe other moths will be drawn to the light
Or do you reckon that ESG must keep 50.1% as STO may be able to co-opt a new entrant to side with them
Maybe a sale of 29% leaving ESG with 36% is not regarded as strategicaly wise ?
If they cant "afford" to sell down 29% where will the big money come from to help fund the $1Bn field development.
Where is that just about to be signed ERM GSA ? Banks may even loan ESG some money if they have some GSAs !
