Similarly if OBL did jump the gun, why didn't FMG then come out with some statement refuting the announcement. The fact they didn't lends credibility to the case that this was more than a handshake. But one never knows in this day and age, and doubt we'll ever know. When deals are brokered, usually both sides are quick to discuss symbiotics and how the deal would be advantageous to each etc etc. But when it collapses, there's usually no information as to why leaving everyone scratching their heads. I'm still waiting on next week (since can't do bugger all else at this point), but jury is still out. Reckon by the end of January we'll all know the future one way or the other of OBL.
