I've just posted this at AAM, and am carboning it in here believing it might help stave off demoralization.
I am looking for an angle that will enable me to get a clearer perspective on the firesale lunacy that presently prevails. Perhaps the late Sir John Templeton is a good guide to follow. He laid the foundations of the fortune he made by buying up stocks in the 1930s that had been bashed down to a few cents. He saw the low risk, and the promise, when few if any others did. With his example in mind, I stay the course.
