I use that road a lot and there is nothing wrong with it nor is there serious congestion. THis is blatant pork barrelling in marginal Labor electorates. There are roads that are needed in Perth but unfortunately for their users they dont sit in marginal seats!

If Labour really was serious about supplying infrastructure to Perth it would be funding the rail network expansion, rebuild of the hopeless international airport, and moving the Fremantle container port to the South.

Gillard is cynically giving crumbs to a few marginal seats while attempting to steal billions from WAs economy in the MRRT.
