    Ahh Malaga us renters must work longer hours than you landlords! Regardless, one month RP Data's stats are down and the bears win, the next month it goes up and the bulls rejoice, monthly movements shouldn't concern us, it's the trend that's our friend.



    I don't think we can argue that Perth's trend hasn't hit a 'boom hurdle' in property pricing post 2007, in saying that however I don't believe Perth is going to collapse in 2012. As Ausbenny commented Western Australia has a huge amount of committed works in the pipeline, even if Europe went back to the stone age tomorrow, WA has enough committed projects to see it through until at least the end of 2014. It then needs to be questioned if the last to fall, fall the hardest?

    We can take comfort in the fact that with the Gorgon and other LNG projects which will come online in the coming years will take our economy more from a two commodity economy to a three commodity economy! Too many eggs in one basket? I think so.
