Man - tough call by crucifying this guy. He could have said nothing and tried to avoid detection (like the majority) - but appears he has come forward ... and now will have to suffer the inevitable pain / punishment for his act of stupidity ... but think people ... he may be missing because he has committed suicide ... will that make you feel better. No doubt his actions have caused alot of grief ... but he is not an arsonist (intentionally setting fires) ... please ... don't take your hate out on someone who will regret his actions till the day he dies ... he will be punished (and punished badly), because he is a cop ... and true ... cops do stupid things - like all of us ... clearly this act of stupdity has caused alot of grief .... (but loads of other mindless acts cause people alot of long term grief & the punishments are not great ... spend some time in court and you can't argue with that surely). The main reason for this post is I would hate to think that the public paints him as a monster and he can't live with that ... now that is more disturbing to me.
