One of the mistakes anaylsts and others make is too lump all suburbs together and treat the market as one. That is not the case and particularly in Perth. The elite suburbs although still expensive have performed badly in last few years. Only a limited number of people at top of market. There are many other afforfable suburbs that are available. Some have done ok and others with lots of new housing estates and first home buyers have struggled. Many people got confused with what they wanted and what they could afford, hence the rate of repo. This is when money can be made. Find the right suburb, find the right property, find the right vendor and you will do well. There are still house available in ok suburbs for $250,000 The bell has not rung yet but it will soon.
