Rents haven't moved up a little more I can assure you.
A lot more.... and along with very low fixed rates, I am going to enjoy the next few years.
Mine alone have gone up 46% in the last 2 years and will keep rising. If the large influx of immigrants and others coming to WA to work don't buy, then they still need to be housed.
With vacancy rates dropping like a stone and fuel prices rocketing along nicely, I will accept the next 46% increase gratefully.
As I said previously, buy at the right price, close to infrastructure and you won't go wrong. Very soon my tenants can take a short 2-3 min drive or a leisurely 10min stroll and walk to the new rail station....And the new tenants were well aware of the benefits in doing so.
Property prices down?...who cares. They will come back as always and prove the long term advantage of property.
