Population is growing rapidly, My comment on top end is that there is a huge difference between blue chip Mount Lawley and Mcmansion crap in the suburbs. The vast tracts of bad taste from Yanchep to Secret Harbour where people built Fake Tuscan black roof boxes with no eaves and twenty rooms are going nowhere, nobody wants them, or can afford the maintenance. Once again though not all of Perth will go up like in 2007. If you cannot beat 3% growth for the year then you are in the wrong area.
So Mike when a property is advertised in Gumtree or paper with no address does SQM ring them up and find out the address and cross reference and if SQM are right then all those extra properties would eventually show up on Landgates figures.
