Malaga I agree with you McMansions arent going anywhere, the boomers are getting ready to offload these into retirement with Gen X and Gen Y unable to afford such a place. My reference was to the city of rockingham and Baldivis where the majority of the property market movements are occuring. The last census showed a highly endebtted young group of homeowners in this area with many working in mining vocations, the surburb has boom to bust written all over it to me. The suburb of rockingham has a much older demographic, many own outright or have little mortgage debt with low incomes and unrelated to mining overall.
